About Us

The way education is addressed in the United States is setting kids up to find their flaws, internalize them as personal problems and keeps the next generation from becoming true learners and thinkers. Awesome Consulting works with schools to build a community center where students find their God given strengths, and learn to use their skills and talents, to become authentic life long learners, community leaders and the next generation of our species. We focus on what is going well, to build off so we can address what needs to change, and make the changes to school systems, be it discipline, hands on learning, school improvement plans, teacher morale, connecting with community and families, etc. It's about seeing that a Better Tomorrow is Possible, and taking the steps to build the system to make it happen.

It's about seeing that a Better Tomorrow is Possible, and taking the steps to build the system to make it happen.

I’ve spent nearly 20 years in education and leadership, moving from classroom teacher to school administrator, nonprofit founder, consultant, speaker, podcast host, and entrepreneur. Some of my biggest accomplishments include helping lead a school culture transformation that contributed to an approximately 70% reduction in severe disciplinary consequences, supervising a staff of about 45 people, helping manage a multi-million-dollar school budget, and developing programs focused on belonging, restorative leadership, and student success. I founded Awesome Consulting & Educational Services to help schools and leaders rethink culture, discipline, connection, and what is possible for students and communities. I’ve also presented my work at professional conferences including WAESOL and the Association of Teacher Educators. Through The Jennifer Awesome Podcast, The Intentional Disc Golfer Podcast, and now A Better Tomorrow Is Possible with Jenni Awesome, I’ve had the opportunity to interview, collaborate with, and learn from leaders, entrepreneurs, authors, athletes, and change-makers across multiple industries. I also completed an intensive leadership development program where I was selected by my peers as both the Torchbearer and Team Captain. In that role, I supported and led my team to achieve 100% completion across every area of the program, including personal growth, meaningful connection with others, and a community service project. That experience strengthened my ability to lead through encouragement, accountability, vision, and collective ownership. Outside of education, I’m also an entrepreneur and community builder. One accomplishment I’m especially proud of was helping raise approximately $35,000 in three months to support efforts combating child trafficking. The common thread throughout my career has been taking big ideas, connecting people around a shared vision, and helping individuals and teams turn possibility into measurable action.
