About Us

Operating on the edge of STEM, we design and manufacture a product line of radio station building components solving common problems licensed amateur radio operators across the country and world encounter. - CNC Manufacturer of precision machined RF Engineering components for Amateur Radio enthusiasts. - We developed a product line carried by a national retailer and have our own store. - We previously did contract manufacturing for various clients throughout the US. (We precision machined other peoples industrial machine components, jewelry, guitar effects pedal enclosures (and still do!), and more. Because of a day job, I was unable to meet clients time requirements and instead designed a catalog of RF engineering components for building your amateur radio station. I pitched to the nations premier online retailer and they liked me! 3 years later we're still advancing the art of radio. (A play on the Radio Amateurs' philosophy.)

We solve a variety of problems in the Radio Amateurs' station. (I can expand on this with some direction.) In plain speak, hardware is required to build a radio station in one's home, we have a variety of systems of aerospace quality that are obtainable to the community. Additionally in an industry of technical people, we try to design with some art influence and color, which isn't typical. The community seems to appreciate some design art in the products we manufacture. While not a current focus, it once was and will be later: we bring other people's designs to life. Many people can use CAD to design a product but can't make it, we take their design and prototype it for them to find defects in their design, then mass produce that item on contract. We've done a watch, and we currently still help another local business whose designed a guitar effects pedal by manufacturing the case and components for it.

Honestly, none of this matters. - I successfully passed my Technician level amateur radio license just before my 14th birthday. That involved learning radio propagation, super basic circuit reading, radio operating procedures, etc... - I lost 101 lbs to get into the Navy in less than a year. - During that 13 Year career, I scored high enough entering to get into one of the highest classified technical careers our nation offers. - In that 13 years, I was stationed on the USS O'KANE, Japan and in Fort Meade MD. Deployed to the middle east three times, and Asia once. I was tested in my area of expertise and earned what they call Warfare pins, I have 2. - Fun Fact: I once swam in the Marianas Trench. - Later in my Navy time, I applied for, was selected, and graduated from a 3yr special program focusing on the highest, most critical technical problems our nation solves. The program involved 1500+ hours of extremely technical and leadership courses, as well as people skills like cold calling and pitching. It was life changing and I'm forever grateful for that experience. In 2018 I left active duty and as a contractor I managed to remain supporting our nation directly, at first carrying on advancing the fight for our nation, and later engaging and mentoring today's elite problem solvers. - Outside of that, concerning RMW, I'm most proud of our relationship with our national retailer. They saw the value in us and our products RIGHT AWAY and I'm glad that previous experience gave me the confidence to approach them. I'm sure there's other stuff, none of that matters.
