Your Offer is What is Holding You Back – Let’s Fix It Pt 2 (S24E5)

This Week On The Blox

The Bloxers are still in the thick of building offers that customers actually want to buy, and this episode wastes no time putting those offers under the microscope. We kick things off with judge consultations, where founders get a healthy dose of tough love as they work to sharpen their value propositions, rethink their pricing, and figure out whether their offers are as irresistible as they think they are.

But a little constructive criticism is just the warm-up. When night falls, it's time to put everything they've learned to the test in the Blox Off! The pressure is on as founders go head-to-head, defend their decisions, and prove they can turn feedback into something that actually sells.

Because having a great idea is one thing. Convincing someone to open their wallet? That's a whole different ballgame. And when the competition heats up, we'll find out who's ready to make the sale and who's still selling themselves on their own idea.

Make Saying Yes Feel Like a No-Brainer

Every purchase comes with a little uncertainty, and the more risk customers perceive, the harder it becomes to get them across the finish line. Guarantees, trial periods, and satisfaction promises can help eliminate those doubts and give buyers the reassurance they need to take action. Plus, when you're willing to stand behind your offer, you're sending a powerful message: you're confident enough in what you're selling to put your money where your mouth is.

Add Value Without Slashing Your Prices

A lower price isn't always a better deal. Instead of racing to the bottom with discounts, look for ways to make your offer more attractive through strategic bonuses, bundled services, exclusive perks, or additional support. The goal is to increase what customers feel they're getting without sacrificing your margins or cheapening your brand. Sometimes the smartest way to make an offer more appealing isn't to charge less, but to give people more reasons to buy.

Let Your Customers Tell You What Works

Your first version of an offer shouldn't be your final version. Headlines, pricing structures, bonuses, and positioning are all opportunities to experiment and improve. Rather than guessing what will convince someone to buy, test different approaches and pay attention to how customers respond. The more you learn from actual buying behavior, the better equipped you'll be to create offers that convert consistently.

Get Comfortable With the Math Behind the Magic

An irresistible offer won't do your business much good if it costs more to sell than it's worth. Understanding your customer acquisition cost (CAC) and customer lifetime value (CLV) gives you a clearer picture of what you can afford to spend, how to price profitably, and where to invest in growth. Creative marketing might get customers through the door, but healthy business economics are what allow you to keep those doors open.

Think Beyond the First Transaction

Not every offer needs to be designed to close an immediate sale. Some should introduce people to your business, others should encourage a first purchase, and still others should reward loyalty or motivate referrals. By developing offers that serve different stages of the customer journey, you create more opportunities to build relationships, generate revenue, and keep customers coming back. The real opportunity isn't just making one sale. It's creating a customer experience that makes the next sale easier.

Kelby McCan
Kelby McCan
Real Estate Development, Serial Entrepreneur and Actor

Kelby McCan has built his life around helping people feel safe when the stakes are high. At 20 years old, he was selected for Air Force Special Warfare Pararescue, beginning a 10-year career that took him across four continents rescuing military personnel and civilians affected by natural disasters. Years later, Kelby found himself on the other side of a crisis. Just two months after purchasing a home in Port Aransas, Texas with his wife and newborn daughter, Hurricane Harvey devastated their property. During the rebuilding process, they discovered that portions of the home had been sold to them with unpermitted dwellings that couldn’t legally be rebuilt. With a mortgage to pay and rental income suddenly gone, Kelby returned overseas to contract in Africa while his family stayed behind. That experience changed the trajectory of his career. Determined to make sure other families had someone protecting their interests during one of the biggest purchases of their lives, Kelby studied real estate while overseas and became an agent. His mission was simple: provide the honest, relentless representation he wished his own family had received. The approach resonated. In his first year, Kelby represented a $2.2 million home and later secured contracts totaling $15 million in properties over a four-month period. Today, Kelby serves the Port Aransas market with the same mindset that defined his military career: protect the people who trust you, stay calm when things get complicated, and never quit when someone is counting on you. For Kelby, real estate isn’t just about selling property. It’s about making sure his clients never feel like they’re facing the biggest decisions of their lives alone.
